RI 6 Hour 2.0

Rhode Island 6 Hour Ultramarathon & Relay

I thought the 2016 edition of the RI 6 Hour was going to be the last one, but I had so many people asking to keep the race, I just had to.  With that said, I had to switch it up and keep it fresh and exciting.  The race is now in a new location on a new course.  I hope everyone is as excited about it as I am!

When: 10/28/17 – 8:00 AM
Where: Pulaski Memorial State Park, 151 Pulaski Road, Chepachet, RI

The Rhode Island 6 Hour Ultramarathon and Relay is the oldest current ultra marathon in Rhode Island. This event is a 6 hour timed race, plain and simple the individual and team that completes the most miles within 6 Hours wins the event.

Course: The course is still under development, but I know what I plan on doing.  There will be mostly dirt road with some grass sections.  If you have run the Run with the Beavers Trail Race, you will be familiar with most of the course.  There will be no technical single track trails.  The course will be very friendly to those that believe they trip and fall over every root.  More information will be added as I can get out to the park and take photos and get some GPS data on the course.  It will be between 2.5 and 3.0 miles.
